Comprehensive forecasting tool for music consumption will spark debate in the music industry on issues such as how to tackle digital piracy.
A tool which forecasts the long-term impact of digital piracy on the music industry’s revenues is today launched by Detica, the specialist business and technology consultancy, at the MusExpo conference in London. The model is able to predict the outcome of different strategies for tackling digital piracy on the music industry’s revenue fortunes to generate industry debate on how best to tackle copyright infringement.
