We’ve been fortunate to have seen tremendous success as both the organization and digital music services continue to grow. We have made very clear that this is also one of our greatest challenges, and not uncommon to a lot of growing companies. We strive to improve our methods for distributing payments from over a thousand services to even more artists and labels in a timely manner, which is why we continue to make the updating of our systems a high priority.
Developing systems that keep pace is something we’re always trying to improve. This is a priority for us and for our board that we endeavor to make better, which is why we’ve brought on world-class technology talent, including our first CTO and a new COO, and have already made great strides in making enhancements.
We continue to improve our systems to make payments as expeditious and accurate as possible. In fact, we continue to distribute more royalties than ever, with Q4 2011 representing our highest payment to date of $89M.
