PLAYS: Performance Log Archive of Your Songs
Welcome to the PLAYS (Performance Log Archive of Your Songs) search engine. PLAYS is a database that allows you to search, by featured artist, song title, album or record label, for sound recording performances reported to SoundExchange by digital services.
If you are the featured artist or sound recording copyright owner of a song recording that appears in the search results of PLAYS and have not registered with SoundExchange, then SoundExchange may be holding digital performance royalties for you.
In order to receive the royalties to which you may be entitled, please register with SoundExchange right away! Registering to view PLAYS DOES NOT begin your registration with SoundExchange. To get paid, register online or download forms to fax or mail.
You can also use PLAYS to provide us with any corrections, or to update ownership information. If you discover an entry in PLAYS which should be corrected, select a track by checking the box on that entry. Confirm your selection. You’ll then be presented with an email form, where you can submit corrections, clarifications, or changes to that data. Click send to get that information to SoundExchange staff, so we can update our records.
Services reporting plays to this database include Internet-only webcasters, braodcast simulcasters, satellite radio services, digital cable and satellite television music services. For information on which royalties may be collected through SoundExchange, consult our Performer/Artist FAQs.
