Membership
When you register to receive your royalties, or any time after you’re registered, you’ll have the opportunity to become a member of SoundExchange. This is different from registering, but don’t worry, it’s still free. Benefits of membership include:
- Get your royalties from around the world! By becoming a member, you authorize SoundExchange to collect both statutory and non-statutory performance royalties on your behalf in the U.S. and from overseas partner organizations that maintain reciprocal agreements with SoundExchange.
- Amp up your voice! Not only does SoundExchange promote the interests of recording artists and copyright owners all year round, but members will also be invited to participate in quarterly conference calls, and provide a voice in important issues for recording artists and rights owners, like the expansion of performance rights.
- Be in the know! As a SoundExchange member, you can register your repertoire, view and edit your registration information online, and receive (or be featured in!) our NewsExchange newsletter, distributed throughout the industry.
- Snag the best deals! Members will be eligible to receive special rates and discounts on conference admission.
- …and more! SoundExchange is proud to offer an expanding list of member benefits as we continue our work in the interest of recording artists and rights owners.
