Kendall A. Minter is an entertainment attorney with Taylor English Duma, LLP. He is a co‐ founder and the inaugural Executive Director of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA) and currently serves on the Advisory Board. He is also a founding director of the Rhythm and Blues Foundation and is the Chairman Emeritus. He is also the General Counsel and a member of the board of directors of the Living Legends Foundation. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Minter served as associate General Counsel at Fairchild Industries, and was an attorney with leading firms Burns, Jackson, Miller, Summit & Jacoby and Barnes, Wood, Williams & Rafalsky, Rudolph & Beer and Phillips, Nizer, Benjamin, Krim and Ballon. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Cornell Law School and also teaches copyright and music publishing at Georgia State University.
