Scott-DayScott Day is responsible for building and managing SoundExchange’s databases, software, systems, and interfaces that comprise SoundExchange’s information technology.

Technology is the core of SoundExchange and its operations and Scott is leading his team in the development of our next generation technology platform that will enable SoundExchange to continue to scale and operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Prior to joining SoundExchange, Scott ran the technology team behind web giant The Motley Fool. Before that, he served as the vice president of application software and analytics at In-Q-Tel (the strategic investment arm of the U.S. Intelligence Community), vice president of information technology at ProFund Advisors, and vice president of systems development at the innovative financial-services firm FOLIOfn.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.
