Title: Coordinator, Office Operations & Facilities (Coordinator, Office Operations)
Department: Office Operations
Job Location: Washington, DC (Onsite M-F) 
Reports To: VP, Office Operations & Corporate Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

This position is critical to the daily office operations of the organization.  S/he will be expected to work both independently and with team dynamics across multiple departments within the organization as an essential employee. 

Essential Functions:

  • Daily stocking of all kitchens, postage, copier, and general office supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen, postage, copier, and common areas not covered by building maintenance staff
  • Monitor inventory for kitchen, coffee, meetings, and general office supplies
  • Place orders for vending and coffee supplies once approved by VP, OOCS
  • Assist other office personnel as needed with special requests for meeting setups for external meetings or visitors
  • Serve as  team member of the SX Safety and Security team
  • Distribute all daily mail and packages to staff
  • Assist and or back-up Sr. Office Coordinator  as needed in tasks such as but not limited to:
    • Greet and direct office visitors and meeting attendees
    • Answer reception phone and direct calls as needed
    • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and manage special meeting set-ups as required
  • Assist in preparation and planning for Company-wide events
  • Confirm special assignments or duties as directed from VP, OOCS
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, word, excel)
  • PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of use of standard household tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, hammers
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years’ of experience in office administration, facilities operations or a related field
  • Post-secondary education is a plus.

ADA Specifications:

  • The person in this position may need to move about the corporate office(s) all of the time
  • The person in this role must be able to position him/herself (ex: kneel, crawl, crouch down) to fulfill the essential functions of the role less than half the time
  • The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) 40 – 75 lbs.
  • The person in this position must be able to identify and distinguish between colors  all of the time

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires less than 25% travel. 


PAY RANGE:  $26.92 - $30.28
