DEI Statement

At SoundExchange we empower creators and help shape the future of music. One way we do this is by respecting diverse voices, varied perspectives, and distinct backgrounds of all our team members. We are intentional in creating an inclusive culture where we recognize that equity is greater than equality and all employees have the opportunities and support needed to thrive. We strive to create teams that reflect the music community we serve – every individual’s unique attributes and abilities are valued, and are part of how we innovate, create, and deliver experiences to the creators we champion.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion at SoundExchange

The SoundExchange DEI Committee brings different voices and backgrounds to the table to help advise SoundExchange leadership on the DEI needs of the organization and undertakes activities to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion internally. It helps to organize internal DEI culture and policies of SoundExchange , advocates for DEI within the music industry, and participates in DEI activities in the local community where SoundExchange is located.

All with the goal of promoting a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, music industry, and local community.

Impact Amplified

Investing in efforts that make an impact on our community.

Through ImpactAmplified, our social impact iniative, SoundExchange dedicates nearly 2,000 hours of paid company time annually towards community activism and engagement supporting our objective of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, music industry, and local community.

By empowering employees with a full paid workday (or 8 hours) to use toward the DEI cause or activity of their choice, we hope to turn passion into action in the communities in which we live, work and play. Together with our neighbors and colleagues, we can represent the change we hope to see in the world.
